Venue Hire
We are a proud venue of Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Melbourne Fringe Festival and Midsumma!
If you are producing a show or season of shows for one of these festivals, please get in touch with us about hiring our venue in North Melbourne! Details of the space are below.
REHEARSAL/
PRICING: HOUR / $40 DAY / $250
​
You will need to organise your own technician and door staff. All Sound/ lighting Technicians must be experienced/qualified. You must also have a good marketing strategy in place in order to increase your chances of having a good crowd for a more enjoyable festival experience. It is also expected that performers will have their own Public Liability Insurance.

FESTIVAL HIRE/
$180 per show
Dates locked in with $360 Deposit
Must run AT LEAST 4 shows consecutively at the same time

Max. Show length:
One hour
15min bump in / 15 min bump out.
TIME SLOTS/​
6 to 7pm
7.30 to 8.30pm
9 to 10pm
10.30 to 11.30pm

CANCELLATION POLICY/
If you need to cancel your Festival hire with
Club Voltaire, we will retain your $360 deposit until those spots are filled. If they are unable to be filled, you will lose your deposit.
