MEET THE OWNER:

Lindsay Saddington is the owner, founder and creative producer of Club Voltaire. He is also the owner of Saddington

Studios and the artistic director of the Australian Centre of Performing Arts.

​

His mission is to bring the best emerging theatre practitioners, the most promising talent and the most exciting and daring new acts to Club Voltaire.

He aims to support and nurture a variety of emerging and established artists by providing multiple opportunities to perform, present and grow their art at a low risk to the performer.

 

Lindsay has taught for over twenty five years and has extensive industry experience. He has been an actor in film, television, and theatre; a director of theatre and music video productions; and a producer of theatre, music video, and film.

Lindsay has completed a Bachelor of Arts with a double major, Psychology and Sociology, including Theatre Arts at Victoria College, Toorak Campus (Deakin) — studies that are related to Lindsay’s fascination by all things human, what makes us tick, and what has meaning to us.

Lindsay’s advice for performers is that success requires talent of course, but the following are also essential: good marketing, a good attitude, and proactive business acumen.

MEET THE MARKETING AND BOOKINGS MANAGER:

​

Hailing from Naarm/Melbourne in Australia, Mikki Michelle has a performing arts career that has spanned over 15 years in musical theatre, drama, singing and burlesque. She moved to Montreal , Canada in 2014 to expand her career in the performing arts. While living there she discovered her passion for marketing and promoting performing artists, working at Montreal’s premier cabaret bar The Wiggle Room. She was voted in the Top 10 best promoters in Montreal, as well as building a reputation as one of Montreal's top cabaret producers.

She may be known as a cabaret and burlesque performer, but she is currently focusing her efforts on Marketing and Public Relations. 

​

She moved back to her hometown of Melbourne in 2019, where she's forged lasting relationships with new clients, and have worked with big names, such as the Australian Burlesque Festival and Jazida.

​

Mikki is thrilled to be working as the Marketing and Bookings Manager at Club Voltaire and looks forward to helping to make your show a success!
